In Praise of college football chaos: Appalachian St 34, Michigan 32
Long ago, I gave up on sanity in college football. I don't have a real team that I root for, so I root for chaos.
I root for EVERYONE to lose at least once.
If there is an underdog, I am rooting for them.
This was the biggest upset since David caught Goliath between the eyes.
And I LOVED it.
Even though I know how it is going to end...I cannot wait to watch this game from beginning to end.
Big Blue Fans...stay off the bridge, it's just a game.

The combination of the lake effect snow and football mania kept me away from graduate school at Michigan.
Instead I went to a school with no lake effect snow that was insane about basketball...
Oh, we're going to the bridge alright, but we're not jumping - we giving Lloyd his proper "goodbye" complete with concrete shoes...
