Columbia University President Lee Bollinger, Hater of the Millenium
Stuff like this is what makes it so embarrassing to be an American. We blather ON and ON about Freedom of speech and the Land of the free and the home of the brave.
We have a president hell-bent (almost literally) on bringing democracy (his kind, not yours) to the world.
But if you are GOING to have a shmuck like this dude speaking at your school. You give him the respect you afford a Head of state and then let HIM make a fool of himself.
someone wise once said you don't argue with a fool, because at a distance no one can tell who is who.

seriously. i've only seen bits and pieces of the intro & i was like huh?????? why'd you approve his presence if you were going to do all of that?? just don't have him at all (i really didn't understand the point)? the right must've been all in his butt.
I heard a pretty good interview that explained why Bollinger allowed him to show.

It's worth listening to what Richard Bulliet, professor of Middle East history at Columbia University, has to say.
I had to stop listening to the program after the Holocaust deniers starting calling in...
what an idiot.
